So December was a blur of knitting. Yes I'm still working on Christmas presents and it's Febuary on Monday. But the presents are sooooo pretty. My mom got a shawl/hat/cowl/poncho combo, Janet got a purse, Joel got a hat and scarf, Kelly got a scarf, Kyle got a hat, my dad got one sock with another on the way, and Jill and Bob got yarn and Kaci got prickily pear dyed yarn too but she gets to make her own stuff from it. My sholder still hurts from the productivity and I should be done by next week.
The Holiday Visiting Season started off with a trip to Tucson to visit Bryan's mom and to take our own awkward family photos:
Unfortunately Bryan's trip got cut short due to work related issues and he ended up back in Flagstaff with me until Christmas Eve Eve. Next Was Yuma where we had beautiful weather and ate and laughed a lot . I have two cookie recipies that I will share when I'm not fasting from cruising and christmas :) If I don't get to make them I don't share.
Next it was on to Chandler for time with my parents, kaci, and my friend Adrea who has a beautiful baby boy named Daniel that she made me hold. She's trying to get me to catch something I think. Actually Daniel was very sweet and we had a good time catching up with Adrea and David. So much fun, good food and globe gossip. Kaci and I also got to make a couple of connections which was wonderful too. Oh and we visited my grandparents. My grammy showed me how to crochet so now I have a new way to feed my yarn addiction. Then it was back to Flagstaff for some quite time before work and the cruise......
