I'm sick of being guilted into eating crap that I don't like and is bad for me.

Ok so yesterday was a snowday for NAU. We decided to go jeeping and I am trying desperately to loose the weight that I gained over thanksgiving, christmas, birthday etc. I have gained the 12 lbs that took me all year last year to loose. I wanted to go jeeping so Bryan, Grace and I could go for a hike and take some pictures, but alas, the place where we went was covered in snow and we ended up having to rescue some idiots who were stuck in the snow in their 2x4 truck while they were drinking. We spent some time getting them out the first time, but then while we were helping our friend Mark out, the guys drove up 100 yards and got stuck again. Needless to say I was not pleased, and couldn't let grace run because I was afraid she would get in the way and get hurt.

When we got back to town we ended up going out to eat at Chili's which was only decided on because there is no place that our friend's can agree on. They got rid of the one thing I knew was under 1,000 calories and so I ended up making another bad choice and I feel ill today. So I'm done. I'm done feeling like I have to eat out because it's our friend's only way to socialize. I'm done compromising on crappy food I don't like and is too expensive and not being able to eat good food because I'm nickeled and dimed out of it. I'm not blaming our friends and I'm not blaming chili's I'm blaming myself. We can not afford to eat out, so we shouldn't. This paycheck we are going to the cash system and I am going to have enough self respect for myself to say no to things we can't do just because I think that it is impartive to friendships to go into debt and become fat.

For serious. Fight the power! Seriously, I feel the same way most of the time and Flagstaff is kind of lacking in healthy choices.
