    1st Day of Class....

Yesterday was my first day of my multicultural counseling class. So far it looks to be a good one. We discussed race, power, and our worldviews. Today it's white privelage. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is two chapters a night, plus outside readings and 5-7 page papers every weekend. This is all important but leaves me little time for knitting, gardening, or the dog. Speaking of gardening....I got my first Jalapeno blooms since the snow storm so hopefully I will have Jalapenos soon.

As for Grace. Her abilities as an escape artist have moved to inside the house. Yesterday Bryan and I came home to find Grace on the couch looking at us like yeah I'm on the couch, what are you going to do about it. Turns out she was able to hit the exercise pen just right to make it open for her to escape. The damage was minimal (a piece of paper and her brush was chewed), but it helped us learn that we need to reinforce her exercise area in the future. Let's hope she stays put for today.
