It snowed in Flagstaff on Friday and I was worried that Bryan would never let it go that my plants might die and because of that I'd never get to plant a garden again. It's Memorial Day weekend, and yes I know we live in Flagstaff, but snow? Really?!? So I bought frost fabric and guess what most of my plants survived with flying colors. The chili peppers look a little hagard, but they survived! I'm so excited.
So other than that little drama our weekend was pretty good. My parents came up and my dad and bryan leveled the house and my mom and I hung out with the dog. We smoked a pork butt and made pulled pork and had a party on Saturday night where we found out that Gracie has issues with kids. Well at least one kid, she got really freaked out by Mark and Erin's son. She ended up barking and growling at him. Monday we tried to give her treats while Quinn was around, and it worked for awhile until he got squirmy and now we're looking for suggestions to overcome that issue (Gracie's not Quinn's :)) .
Sunday, we went to lunch with my parents and then came back to find Gracie under the Jeep. Turns out she had been able to squeeze through the pigwire to get out and couldn't get back in. She was scared, but had the good mind to stick around which is good. So we fortified the wall and Bryan found out how she got through. Bryan's fixing that as we speak.
After all of the stress of the day (Ride in the Jeep, New People, and Petco) we left Gracie at home and took a jeep ride on Old Route 66. We've got pictures here: http://www.lovelesschristian.com/gallery/old6652608 and grace pictures here: http://www.lovelesschristian.com/gallery/grace14weeks .
