Its raining, its pouring....and sometimes I'm a lot like my namesake.

I'm sitting here in my office 15 minutes after the doors have closed pondering this week. It's raining out and like my namesake rain does some crazy things to my psyche. It's been a week of growth, fear, competence, and freedom.

Last weekend Bryan and I had friends over to partake of our new bbq (I got it for graduation thanks mom, dad, joel, darrel and debbie) and we made argentine chicken with a chimchurri sauce. Bryan and Charlie played horseshoes in the back while I made frothy spiked rasberry lemonaide and set up the little table outdoors. It was a good night and the food made great leftovers. With it I made empanadas (chimchurri and mole) and a pasta salad that lasted us all week. Thank you Mark, Erin, Quinn, Charlie and Amanda for a wonderful evening.

I keep falling more in love with my husband every day.

We had a doctors appointment where I found out that I needed to change my birthcontrol and that my lady parts need to take steroids and go to physical training...I know there is a joke about pumping you up in there somewhere :) And no this was not due to any kid related thing...no kids just yet. Sorry if I got your hopes up.

I got a massage. Yay massages!

We went to counseling which was extremely helpful and I recomend it for everyone...and I mean everyone. Yes you too. And nothing is wrong in the marriage department, we just have great insurance, and wanted an outside view while we work on skill to transition into a life less stressed.

    My garden is growing.

My dog needs to take melitonine, because she like her owner wakes up gets nervous and can't sleep. But besides that is happy, shiny, funny and would run all day trying to catch lizards if we let her.

I am learning all about the new database system at work and loving it.

I planned my summer to do's out.

My house needs to be cleaned.

My parents are coming up this weekend.

And it's raining and misty out.

So remember your blessings this weekend as you're out and about. They all mean something, and there is a reason for everything even if we don't know and may not ever know what it is.
