I made these this morning for my grammy's Christmas Tree. They each took 30 minutes and there are 28 rows (one for each year of Bryan and my lives) and a bead for each country we have visited. I've got 15 beads and bryan has 7. If you'd like to make the icicles take 24 gadge jewlery wire (I chose silver), beads, and size 10.5 dpns. string the beads and cast on 8 stitches. Knit 3 rows. Decrease by one stitch knit 4 rows, and continue until you have 2 stitchs on a row. knit 2 rows, cast off. take a dowel or a spare knitting needle and wrap the knitted work around the needle, sew it up and you're done. It's easy and beautiful.
